First Baptist Church of Malvern originated as a small Sunday School Mission in 1918 and was non-denominational.
The Sunday School met in the Town Hall until the year 1923 when membership made it necessary to move to a small brick building in the yard of The Robinson Clay Products Co.
Later that year, the mission was reorganized as First Baptist, and the first pastor was appointed. In 1928, a plot of land was obtained, and the first edifice was erected.
Through the sixty years, that building went through many changes as the membership increased.
In 1989, the present building was erected on the site of the old building and we began services in October of the same year.
This year, 2023, we will celebrate our 100th Year Anniversary on Sept 3, 2023.
